With a history dating back to 1927, Swindon College offers both Further and Higher Education with programmes ranging from Level 1 right up to postgraduate level. The college in based in central Swindon five minutes from the train and bus stations and Oxford, Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and Reading are within half an hour's travelling, while London and Cardiff are within one hour. The college also houses the School of Art facility which is the oldest in the south west of England and which offers unique courses such as an MA in Archaeological Illustration and a BA (Hons) Illustration (Sequential & Narrative).
