State Funding If you don’t have enough money to pay for your studies by yourself, and are getting little financial support from your parents, you can get help from the state.

Each student can apply for a government student loan. There are two types of loans: those that finance the tuition fees and those that cover the living costs.
The sum of the tuition fees credit depends on the amount of the tuition fees and not on the domestic income. Students from Great Britain can apply for both credits. EU students can apply only for a credit in order to cover their tuition fees, unless, they have lived for at least three years in Great Britain, have migration worker status of the EEA countries or Switzerland or have parents who are considered as Turkish migration workers.
International students who fit none of these descriptions are not entitled to a student loan and pay much higher fees. The study credits are applied to the "European Team" of the Ministry of Education and paid after the completion of the studies having an income of more than £ 15,000 paid back each year.
For students who come from the EEA countries, Switzerland and Scotland and apply for their first Bachelor's course of studies at a Scottish university, the tuition fees are taken on by the Scottish Government.
Depending on the country you come from, you have to different institutions in consideration to the loan. You will find the addresses
here .
On the internet site
direct.gov.uk students from EU countries can inform themselves about the conditions for a loan.
