Whether a language test is presupposed for a certain course of studies or not, you should better ask at the International Office of the respective university. The requirements vary, depending on whether you strive for full studies or a guest stay. British universities usually expect a proof of sufficient linguistic proficiency of foreign university applicants.

If English is not the native language of the applicant, the following qualifications are in general accepted:
