HBO institution in Gouda
Driestar Hogeschool
Driestar Hogeschool, is part of a larger organisation (Driestar Educatief) with 65 years of experience in teacher training and education. We are closely involved with several primary schools and nurture our close relationship with the working field. Because of our close involvement with practitioners in the field, we know what matters to teachers in their classrooms.
Our ambition is to offer programmes that are up-to-date and close to teaching practice. All our programmes have been ranked between the first and the fifth places on the national rating lists for teacher training programmes.
Are you a Christian student in education? And would you like a broader perspective on the subject? Then we would like to invite you to join our International Class. As from September 2010 Dutch students and students from all over the world will study together with the focus on Christian education in international perspective.
We invite students from abroad to participate in our International Class. We welcome students or graduated students from different cultural backgrounds and views on education to join our students in the discussions about teaching. The dialogue between participants will help you clarify your own ideas on education and will help you to broaden your perspective on teaching.
After three months, students of the International Class will be able to go home with a deeper insight in their own teaching practice.
