There are currently more than 3,300 students at the University of Applied Science Harz studying in 22 different and innovative degree programmes. The university is split into two different locations, the “Colourful Town beside the Harz”, Wernigerode , where the department of Automation and Computer Science as well as the department of Business Studies are situated, and the cathedral city Halberstadt in which the department of Administrative Science is located. Both locations hold modern and multimedia-based equipment, that facilitates a successful and efficient course of study. Due to the restructuring of the course system, the university now awards market-orientated Bachelor and Master degrees. With its three departments, the University of Applied Science Harz stands for practical, high quality, and international education. A typical trademark of studying in Harz is the intensive way in which languages are taught – even by native speakers – especially in the international Dual-Degree-Courses.
