Graduation scholarship – SAS
The SAS is addressed to students who apart from studying also work part-time and/or raise a child. In such cases, however, the SAS tends to be lower as if one would be fully gainfully employed.
A condition for this grant of a study is that the student:
• is in the graduation phase (presumably the study will be finished at the latest within eighteen months starting from awarding the scholarship)
• has not completed any other study or equivalent training by the time of awarding the SAS
• is not 41 years old yet
• in the last four years before granting the SAS was employed at least part-time for at least three full years or obtained an income equivalent for this extent of employment from gainful employment, whereby retention periods are to be followed in accordance with the law protecting working mothers as well as child educating times
• in the last four years before granting the SAS applied for no study aid
• starting from granting the SAS gives up all professional activities
• was not granted the SAS before
