Funds of the ÖH

Social funds

Students who are member of the ÖH and who are in an especially difficult financial situation can receive a one-time financial support from the social fund of the ÖH.

Requirements for support from one of the funds are that the student who is in a social need (in accordance with the guidelines), does not live with parents and provides a document confirming sufficient academic success. Information, exact conditions and application forms can be found at the universities or ÖH's offices.

Flat fund

Students with high living costs have the possibility of requesting a living cost fund. The same criteria apply as with the social fund. The size of the flat and the price/square meter must correspond to the student housing conditions.

Alfred Dorfer Scholarship

Alfred Dorfer Scholarship is assigned by the social department of the ÖH: It is meant for those students, who have to pay the study fees and cannot receive any other support to deal with this particular financial obligation.
